Artwork and proof policy
How to share artwork, review proofs, and approve files for Magnitude print work.
Version 2026-08-25 | Updated August 25, 2026
Customer artwork
Customers must have permission to reproduce submitted text, images, logos, trademarks, and other content. Files containing unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or unsafe content can be rejected.
- Share an accessible HTTPS link from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or a similar service with the quote request.
- You may also reply to the quote-confirmation email with an accessible link.
- Do not include passwords, access codes, or private credentials in the form or sharing notes.
File preparation
Files should match the selected product size, include required bleed, keep important content inside the safe area, and provide sufficient effective resolution at final placed size.
- RGB artwork may be converted to CMYK and can shift in color.
- Low-resolution artwork is flagged rather than silently described as 300 DPI.
- Automated preflight reduces risk but does not replace final production review.
Proofs and approval
Approval applies only to the identified artwork revision. A later replacement file requires another review and approval.
- Check spelling, dates, contact details, orientation, page order, safe placement, and bleed before approving.
- Magnitude retains the approved revision and its approval record with the job.
Production review
Technical checks do not replace final review. Files that cannot be verified remain on hold until a suitable production path is confirmed.
Questions about these policies can be submitted through the Magnitude contact form.
